Competition is fierce at the Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll Live Auction. Part of the fun comes from watching competitive bidding as firefighters from around the country bid on a variety of items ranging from a full set of turn out gear to a pearl necklace. There are items for everyone and there's a chance you could go home a winner and say, "Honey, I did not just bring you a t-shirt this time."

Chief Billy Goldfeder, who is a member of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Board of Directors, will serve as host/auctioneer for the 2010 Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll Live Auction.

Proceeds from the live auction benefit the programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The Foundation leads the nationwide effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. Its programs assist families and co-workers of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
