Stop, Drop, Rock n Roll
About Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll

First Responders 911 Foundation

Over the past nine years, Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll has played an important part in helping us honor America's fallen firefighters. It is a chance for firefighters to give back to the fire service and have fun at the same time. Through a small donation at the door you have all helped the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honor and support the families of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.

The evening, held in association with the Safety Components First Responders 911 Foundation, includes music, fun, food and refreshments, and the highlight of the event - the Live Auction. Firefighters from around the country bid on a variety of items ranging from a full set of turn out gear to a pearl necklace.

This year, Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll will be held during FDIC on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the historic Indiana Roof Ballroom. Your $15 donation includes all of the music, fun, food (Buffet from 7 - 9 p.m.) and refreshments* that Stop, Drop, Rock 'n' Roll has to offer -- and you will helping the programs of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation!

Tickets will also be available at FDIC on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in the registration area, during the show in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Booth #6026, near registration at Booth #5434, at the entrance to the exhibits in Lucas Oil Stadium Booth #8026, and at the door on the night of the event.

About the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

The United States Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the nonprofit foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers. With the support of fire and life safety organizations and the Department of Homeland Security, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has launched a major initiative to reduce firefighter deaths. Its goal is to reduce the number of preventable firefighter line-of-duty deaths.
